From Charlie’s Perspective: The Birth of KCC

 

Hello there, friends. My name is Charlie, and if you’re here, you’ve probably heard a thing or two about me.

Let me set the record straight — I’m not just Tal Shofet’s dog; I’m the real brains behind King Charles Coins.

You see, I’ve been with Tal through every step of his journey. I may not speak the way humans do, but trust me, I have plenty to say.

Let’s go back to 2015, the year everything changed. It was an ordinary day for me — just another pup waiting for someone to see me, really see me. And then he walked in. From the moment Tal’s eyes met mine, I knew this was it. I felt it in my paws. He looked at me like he’d just found something he didn’t even realize he was searching for. The word “Charlie” spilled out of his mouth as though he’d known it all along.  That’s when I realized — we were destined to find each other.

 

 

From that day on, I made it my mission to stay by his side, through thick and thin. Tal might tell you he adopted me, but let’s be honest — I chose him. He needed someone to remind him of life’s simple truths: that love, persistence, and a little bit of tail-wagging can get you through anything.

Fast forward a few years, Tal was in a big meeting about something called cannabis research. Now, I don’t know much about plants (besides the ones I occasionally eat), but I could sense something stirring in him. He was thinking about the bigger picture — about life, purpose, and what he could do to give back. And that’s when I sent him a message. No barking, no whining, just a silent nudge. You humans might call it intuition. I call it doing my job as his co-creator.

I told him, in my own way, that his path wasn’t just about chasing success. It was about building something meaningful, something that could connect people and help them unlock their potential. That’s how the seed of KCC was planted. He didn’t know it at the time, but the idea was already growing.
